Upper Cervical Chiropractor
Dr. Kyle Wilgus, a native of southern Indiana, is the owner and founder of Owensboro Atlas Center. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University in 2019 and completed clinical rotations at Getting Weller and St. Louis Upper Cervical, where he gained extensive experience working with complex neurological and chronic health conditions.
Dr. Kyle specializes in upper cervical chiropractic care, a precise and gentle approach that focuses on the alignment and function of the upper neck. Unlike traditional chiropractic techniques that often involve twisting or popping, upper cervical care utilizes highly specific adjustments designed to restore proper communication between the brain and body through the nervous system.
At Owensboro Atlas Center, Dr. Kyle developed The ATLAS Method™, a comprehensive system for evaluating nervous system function and identifying underlying causes of chronic health challenges. This process combines advanced neurological assessments, computerized thermography, movement analysis, and state-of-the-art 3D CBCT imaging to provide a detailed evaluation of the upper cervical spine and craniocervical junction.
Many patients arrive at our office after seeing multiple providers and being told that their tests are “normal,” yet they continue to experience symptoms. The ATLAS Method™ is designed to uncover structural and neurological factors that may have been overlooked, particularly in difficult or long-standing cases involving dizziness, migraines, post-concussion symptoms, brain fog, neck pain, vertigo, tinnitus, TMJ dysfunction, POTS, balance disorders, and other complex neurological conditions.
A key area of focus is the brainstem, which serves as the communication hub between the brain and the body. Because the brainstem is located directly in front of the upper cervical spine, even subtle structural abnormalities in this region may influence neurological function, balance, coordination, autonomic regulation, and overall health. Through precise evaluation and care, Dr. Kyle helps patients better understand how upper cervical health may impact their quality of life. Patients travel from across Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, and beyond seeking answers for conditions that have not responded to traditional approaches.
Dr. Kyle is passionate about helping individuals restore function naturally and improve their health through objective testing, education, and personalized upper cervical care.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife, Olivia, and their children in Santa Claus, Indiana. Together they enjoy visiting Holiday World, spending time at their family cabin, fishing, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors.
